Our topic in the Spring 1 half term was Rivers and Seas. We learned learn about the importance of rivers and seas for sustaining life on earth and locate local and international rivers and seas. See the learning overview below for more information about our learning this half term.

Our topic in the Autumn 2 half term was Hinduism. We learned about Hindu beliefs and practices. We explored what life was like for Hindus in Britain. We also made Hindu shrines. See the learning overview below for more information about our learning this half term.
Year 3 Overview Autumn 2 - Hinduism
Our topic in the first half term was Tudors and Stuarts. We will start by looking for historical clues using Tudor artefacts. Following this, we will compare rich and poor Tudor homes and learn about Tudor monarchs, the Spanish Armada and the Mary Rose. Our visit to Trerice will bring this learning to life.  Finally, we learn about Guy Fawkes and why he tried to blow up Parliament. In literacy went out in the Orchard to make Boggarts for our Boggart adventure stories. We will also had two exciting weeks with swimming this half term.
