I was delighted to take up the post of headteacher at Kea School in January 2014.
My main aim is that our 11 year olds transfer to secondary school as healthy, skilled, confident, enthusiastic and creative young people. Kea pupils develop strong values that enable them to make life-long friendships. I am particularly proud that our ex-pupils are noted for the way in which they take on responsibility and play a full and active part in their secondary school communities.
All the staff at Kea are committed to do the best for all our children, and we provide a happy and safe environment, where everyone is valued. Through challenge, encouragement and support we promote the qualities of enthusiasm, curiosity, creativity, confidence and determination.
Parents, staff and governors work together for all our children to develop their potential to the full, enabling them to take a pride in everything they achieve, and grow and learn with confidence.
