General Resources

Welcome to year 3 September 2020!
Year 3 home learning March-July 2020
 Hello Year 3

We have come to the end of the strangest term ever! Well done for keeping going with your online learning, I am still enjoying reading the work that is coming through on the homework email. Below this message is a video for you to watch (this one is not a maths lesson!)

Parents, you have done an amazing job at keeping your children motivated and working while juggling your own work and commitments at the same time. For some of you, it has been impossible, but please don't worry, children are very resilient, and will catch up anything they have missed.

On a personal note, I would like to thank you for the emails and messages of support I have received over the last weeks and months, and particularly for the amazing video which I will always treasure.

It has been a privilege as well as a very real pleasure to teach your children, and I feel decidedly cheated that I have lost a whole term of their delightful company.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very happy and restful summer holiday.

 .

With my very best wishes,

Clare Green

Resources for Literacy
If you are running short of reading books at home, you can download books at the correct level for your child using this free to register site. Lots of other good reading resources here as well.
You can print off these guidelines to practise your handwriting if you find it difficult to keep your letters the same size.
Resources for Maths
White Rose Maths is the scheme we use to plan our mathematics learning. They are providing parents with free resources and lessons while they are at home. Their website is well worth a visit!
